JAM is the official journal of Asia Graduate School of Theology – Philippines. The Journal of Asian Mission seeks to provide a forum to assess theories and practices of mission applied in the past or proposed for the future, and so encourage reflective thinking among Christian leaders training Asians for the missionary task and those working toward the evangelization of Asia.

Dr. Cameron Armstrong

Editor

Cameron Armstrong (PhD, Biola University) serves as Program Director of the ThM/PhD Orality Studies at Asia Graduate School of Theology – Philippines, hosted at Asian Theological Seminary. Cameron is also al theological education catalyst with his mission agency, the International Mission Board of the Southern Baptist Convention.

Before moving to the Philippines in March 2022, Cameron and his family served in Bucharest, Romania, for ten years doing seminary and church planting work. As such, Cameron is heavily involved in Baptist seminary and denominational efforts in the Philippines and around the world. His wife, Jessica, teaches at Faith Academy in Cainta, Rizal, Philippines. They have two children, Sara and Noah, who are elementary students at Faith Academy.

The Journal of Asian Mission a peer-reviewed journal published twice a year (May and November) that provides a comprehensive resource: for individuals and organizations involved in mission work in Asia. Our aim is to share insights, research, and experiences related to Asian mission work, cultural understanding, community development, and religious outreach. We seek to foster collaboration and knowledge exchange among those passionate about Asian mission endeavors and encourage reflective thinking among Christian leaders training Asians for the missionary task and those working toward the evangelization of Asia.
